Ended up getting the
MEC Uplink jacket for $109 - Primaloft Gold 40g/sqm, so a bit lighter than the Northern Lite one I posted earlier (100g/sqm! way too hot), but it is very nice, soft feel, thin and slim-fitting. I am naturally warmer, so I think underneath the Alpha AR shell this will be just fine.
Will use it out skiing and report back.
