Once you get through seeing them and got cities out of your system I highly recommend taking it "easy" and seeking out the less trodden parts of Europe.

Yea we both love France and plan to spend a good amount of time in smaller cities and coastal towns in the next few years
Once we get a taste of some of the smaller towns along the riviera both of us are seriously considering moving there for periods of the year or doing long term house swaps etc.
