I'm in this boat as well. I buy my wife things like shoes and clothes when she needs or wants them but never for holidays, we don't exchange gifts for Birthdays or Xmas either.
We've been together for 20 years, works for us.
I should probably add if you want to celebrate the holiday's more power to you, do whatever makes you happy.
