First of all, I think partnering with BMW was a mistake. BMW stuff falls apart almost immediately after leaving the show room. Some even earlier than that. I know this as a fact, I've owned every generation of M3 aside from the F30. Toyota should have subcontracted the engine to Yamaha like they always had. Second, no manual option guarantees the MKV as a dud. I know Toyota doesn't care about used car pricing as it doesn't really affect their profits. But if they look at the used MK4 market, real 6MT ones are selling at 2-3 times their AT counterparts. That should indicate something.
