My pops has a RX400h (2009) and its been bullet proof so far. Only thing that went was a ABS actuator pump that was covered by warranty. The hybrid drive train has been stout and has over 200,000kms on it without missing a beat.
He's running premium on it as suggested (only did that starting last year due to engine knocking) but he used to just throw regular in it cuz he's a cheap fuck. got a reliable 10/100km in the city and roughly 8-9/100km on highway. I drove it all the way down to LA a few years back and it truly is an amazing ride. Plush, comfortable, and great gas mileage. His RX even has a friggin TV in the back and you can fold the seats comfortably into a bed.
Granted this is a RX300, but the 400 does the same thing.
