Holy bejeezuz, I got to Empire Fields to charge the EV and nobody’s there. Then I see why. The station is down and there are electricians working at the sub panel. I still had 20kms left so I was about to go home to charge. I decide to talk to the electricians and they tell me the station will be up at 5:00 pm. I’m like okay. Then dude tells me, do you know where the Grandview Hwy Superstore is? I just finished installing a DC Fast Charging Station there. I’m like, “Fuck yeah!” And, it’s FREE!!!!!!!!!!! You have to have a Greenlots Card, which I happen to have. The charging station is right next to the gas station, gulolololololol. I should wave and say “Hi,” to those people who will be paying $2.00/litre soon.
Anyway, thank you electric vehicle gods!!!!!
360 volts at 75 amps? It changes to protect your battery as it fills up. This station seems faster than the one at Empire Fields. It’s been 15 minutes and I’m almost done. I hope they limit the stay here. Sometimes Tesla owners, not all, like to hog charging stations wherever they go. Yes, I’m being an electric vehicle owner, racist. Wait till I own one, gulolol.
