In your case of getting deals on your EV, sure.
If you’re spending 40k+ on a model 3 or could buy a comparable fuel Honda Civic for 20k I’d say it’s debatable whether you’d ever see the value in the EV in that type of scenario.
Not to mention all the work you mentioned in order to get a 240V charging station..you added 2 additional sub panels, what did that cost, 5 grand?
