Agree on the craft beer. I feel like Vancouver has easily surpassed Portland in that regard. The other thing is that they are all spread all over the city. Makes you appreciate Vancouver more. I enjoyed Hair of the Dog last time I was there.
Check out Austin, TX if you get a chance. The city has a very similar vibe in terms of food, drinking, craft beer, lifestyle. That and you can eat real BBQ.
