This is the part that gets me.
They subsidize their industries, and China has held the RMB low for over a decade now. I remember when Trump came into power and was complaining that the Canadian gov't was subsidizing the dairy industry. He was ready to shut down milk imports!
So the man is insane, for sure. But he's not too insane to poke the two nations with over half the human population.
