I wonder if trump will be blamed for the inevitable collapse of the EU. Even though it's been fracturing since the Greek debt crisis and Brexit. Add to that the surge in right wing nationalist populism that's been flouncing through the last few years.
Italy being the most recent election. Which the EU attempted,and failed, to block.
I'd say these tariffs could just be the anvil that break that camels back. Exacerbating the political climate that's already taking hold there
