In the 90's it was all about Nick at night, and TV Land.
In the 80's it was KVOS 12. Don't you remember dialing for dollars?!
Some of the stuff we used to watch was petty sappy. Happy Days and shows like that. I've watched Married with Children recently and that was pretty raunchy. But nothing compared to the Bachelor or these other "reality" type shows.
I truly believe that our societal downfall started with the 24 hr news feed, and was kicked into high gear with the advent of reality tv. Suddenly, everyone thinks they're going to be the next big thing.

That's what I thought too.
It's too bad that the mom and bro are terrible people. When contacted by buzzfeed, the mom was going to do an interview until they told her it wasn't a paid interview. She hung up the phone.
