I know someone with a 04 convertible V6 Mustang who has a loud exhaust, although it's put on by the previous owner, and he doesn't exactly feel like spending money to change it back.
The worst part is that one of my other friends drove his car and said that it feels a lot slower than it should be. It seems like the exhaust is a bit too wide for its own good. Those old V6s only had 12 valves, so low-end torque is their game, and the wide exhaust ruins that.
