Digital Marketing agency, where talent is essential to our business. But the thing is when it comes to my employees or subordinates, I'm actually not as direct as if it were with our management team.
With my subordinates, I'm direct, but not an asshole. With my management team, I expect them to not make stupid mistakes, and if they do make them, they're going to hear from me.
Designers are generally introverted. Two people of my management team need to practice the art of not giving a fuck. Or at least practice being able to separate emotion and work. It's not like what I call them out on is subjective anyway, it's very objective.
Simply, I think that creating a "safe space" can lead to inefficiency. (Or people really just need to grow a backbone.)
