Go as big as you can for 4K. I sit about 8 feet away from my TV, and 55" would be the minimum for movies, Amazon Prime, and Netflix. (btw Jeremy Clarkson's teeth in 4K hdr =

I tried to convince myself to go for a full array lit 49" (which would still cost more!), but I think I am glad I went with the cheaper 55" edge lit. I think. Sometimes I regret it when watching HDR content in a blacked out room, but otherwise yeah... Most of the time, bigger = better, as long as you're not sacrificing TOO much.
I sacrificed good local dimming. What would you sacrifice going with a bigger model? If it's just money, and you can afford it, just do it.
