If Toyota wants to bring the Celica back as an AWD, Subie would once again be a natural choice for the partnership. Base it off a future gen WRX, make it a bit shorter, and we can once again get back into a 2 door, 2+2 coupe type of vehicle. A win-win for both Toyota and Subie.
For a shared MR platform, it would be awesome if Honda can somehow be persuaded into collaborating with Toyota. But given Honda's corporate behaviour and preferences, I really don't see them wanting to partner with anyone, and least of all with Toyota.
