I did the same about 4 years back with one of my nephews. We built it together. This year I'm getting him another SSD for his system. roastpuff's system looks good but remember he will also need a monitor, keyboard, and mouse and what about wifi? For a keyboard and mouse combo look at the cooler master devastator 3, it's $43 dollars and has RGB!!!

You could save some money buy going with 8 gigs of ram and I would wait for black friday.
