IMO it's better if someone with a stock car complained.
Like said before, it would have been more relatable to the general public and generate more buzz, which is what we want. They will now know that it can also affect their lives as they try to get to their job, get home to see their loved ones, only to be pulled over unnecessarily and waste their money and time because some cops... I will leave the reasoning up to you.
