Do you think a window has the same crash protection as a door?
Second of all, I don’t make the rules for lift kits, they exist for a reason. Perhaps you should look at the crash tegra posted above. There is a maximum bumper height for that reason. I don’t care, jack up your truck 8 feet, as long as it has protection to keep cars from going under it.
Also I’ve been hit by a pickup truck at nearly 60km/h drivers side once already in an e30. Once I was cut out of the car I walked away. I feel plenty safe in my car as long as people on the roads are only partially idiots.
