I hear it all the time from people I work with that I show up after everyone, I roll in at 7am or later when others start at 6 or 6:30, and they say stupid shit like "good afternoon". And yet what those stupid people never see is that when they leave at 5:30pm, I am at the office until 7 or 8pm every night. So like I say, just make sure you aren't misreading the scenario of how much work he is actually doing.

I think the bigger issue is that you're putting in 12-13 hour days everyday. Not what your coworkers think of you.
