With so many car makers in China, there are always cheap brands will always cut corners and make dirty cheap/unsafe cars for the mass market. There are some best selling Chinese cars that are decent to compete with, let's say Chevy Sonic or Trax market.
They get technology from partnering with western car markers, but overall design and marketing still needs massive improvement!
