Euro crash standards are considered inferior to NA's

hence all the ugly bumpers on exotics sold here, and buncha reinforcements added to carbon tubs like the Alfa 4C

yeah Geely being involved in Volvo/Lotus/MG would probably have a decent track record

edit: turns out MG is owned by another Chinese group, not Geely
