I have not seen your car, so I cannot comment on its legality. However, assuming that you have not exaggerated the description above (I know you have already said there was no exaggeration), I'd strongly recommend you to do some homework regarding proper exhaust note measurement procedures. If Cain has not followed those procedures, file an official complaint based on unprofessional conduct. I think you'd have a strong case here.
