/inb4 he tells you your decibel meter isn't "certified" and your tape measure is not as accurate as his measurement by eye.

Like I said, it probably won't help. I wanted one also to confirm for myself what the dBs are to correspond with what the shop said and it matches. I can confirm my dBs are under 83.
