knicks currently have 14% chance of the no. 1 pick, they're tied with phoenix and cleveland.
a lot of people have been roasting them for essentially trading porzingis for peanuts, imo it wasn't a bad play, they got a good young piece in DSJ (although lots of guards on the roster already) and with the expiring contracts of deandre jordan and wes matthews, the knicks can clear cap space for two max contracts, plus they have just a good chance of landing zion, i would be surprised if they are picking outside of the top 3 in the draft
obvs no guarantees in free agency, but let's face it, the majority of guys want to play in LA or NYC. some teams just have it way easier than others based on location alone
