but, who cares? there's always more than one way to do things, even if it's unorthodox/not considered to be the best. He was giving advice that, if followed, would have a pretty good chance of damaging your hardware. This isn't just a case of doing something different, it's doing something literally incorrectly, and passing it off as expert advice.
