So the newly appointed Treasury Board President Jane Philpott resigns over the JWR scandal.

Perhaps I am oversensitive, but the first thought that came up in my mind is, the Liberals brass is starting to abandon the JT ship. With an election coming up in Oct, this does not surprise me at all.

If we get a couple more Liberals ministers or even back benchers coming out to severe ties with JT, he is finished. Can't say I'd be disappointed about that.
