The correlation Alicia Elliot makes there makes no sense. The statement that JWR would have cared more about aboriginal jobs doesn’t imply Trudeau wouldn’t have cared about them compared to “white jobs”. Unless there is more context to that in her earlier tweets. Im pretty sure SNC doesn’t only employ white people as well. Personally, I think every politician should stay off Twitter. They all look like fucking idiots at some point.
Not to say the original tweet from Copps wasn’t tone deaf and just plain stupid. Anyone would know nothing good will come of that comment.
All twitter is good for is pornstars.
Edit: on re-reading I see the Trudeau/white jobs correlation bait in the second tweet and how someone would take it as such. It’s still a pretty serious stretch to escalate.
