How can VPD justify VI'ing stock sportcars "not safe"?... How about the few cars that passed VI with their aftermarket exhaust systems unchanged? Sounds like VPD is trying to sway the public onto their side by using the word "safe".

That's exactly the thing, in this day and age all you have to do is say "it's for public safety" and most of the population will bend right over and take it up the ass harder than Alexis Texas.
And that gives police all the freedom in the world to do whatever the fuck they want even if it's not in the interest of the general public or not within the "spirit of the law"
