And these people are organized, just not in the traditional way with a leader, etc. They are basically a non religious cult. They will do this shit to impress each other, and from that comes extremists like this guy.
"oh but they're just stupid meme lords, and this was just a crazy one"
Give me a fucking break.
btw I bet I can tell you who the Jordan Peterson fans are in here

You haven't made your idea of how to combat any of this any clearer. So far, all anyone has is that some guy killed a shitload of innocent people, and he had a fascination with memes and a hatred for outsiders (which isn't unique). How that makes anyone but him a
direct threat to anything is beyond reaching, and at worst is borderline irresponsible.
Are you under the assumption that sites like 4chan are directly responsible for these kinds of attacks? If that's what you're saying, then you are attaching a definite conclusion to a site that is completely anonymous and without any kind of user data collection. Literally anyone could be posting racist garbage, you can't see who they are, so how can you conclude that they
aren't just basement dwelling assholes? It could be the reverse, with the truth being that 4chan is the internet version of Al Qaeda, with hardened terrorists ready to strike the world at will. A hundred posts could in fact represent one person.
The actual truth is that it's not physically possible to say, so the best anyone has is that it was a deranged individual who took things too literally.
