Debt can be good or bad depending on what it's spent on. Looking at debt solely is not the whole picture. The real value is seeing the effects of the spending years down the line, then taken credit for in a new government.

FYI, those of you who complain about indigenous spending. The sooner we can get them off the government teats, the sooner they can fend for themselves. That's the way I see it. How many of you have spoken to First Nations? Know them? They're people just like anyone else, except in their culture it's about how the white man fucked them up and are taught to live with a grudge. How does that benefit anyone. In another 50 years, if they're as Canadian as everyone else I know, then it's money well spent.
