Unfortunately I headd these do not work and mainly for resto-cars as there have been reports of people with modified plates given a VI. They will just use the same arguement for people who have passed their first VI and reverted back to modified for this case as cars with modified plates could add illegal modifications after their inspection. I think you have to pay a higher insurance rate for modified vehicle plates/registration as well so doesn’t seem worthwhile.
