these things combined:
"unwanted effects/altered perception/rapid heart rate"
pretty much equals paranoia/anxiety for any user.
just think about it. you have unwanted effects, your perception is altered so youre even more alert about those unwanted effects, and the elevated heart rate doesnt help any of that. its all just almost setup for a panic attack if not just paranoia. lol.
