ex bmw tech here, and I love driving my e90 335i. it's a special edition in ruby black. I havent owned mine for too long, but I would be lying if i said BMW's were reliable.
ps, doing a water pump on the ground on a e70/e90/e82 is one of the most annoying things ever. make sure you have the proper extensions, picks, and u joints (6mm 1/4 u joint socket reccomended) to get those clamps and hoses off.
