Reason why we're getting these reboots every 10-15 years. Except Ghostbusters and Oceans 8 both bombed in large part because it was virtually impossible to live up to the expectations set by the originals (or, in Oceans 8's case, the most recent reboot featuring Clooney).
Bond is a little different in the sense that "007" is not a single person but an agent who has been replaced many times over throughout the decades, so going with a different race and/or gender bond isn't that farfetched, but I still feel like this is going to bomb.
