To each their own but I have no ragrets putting everything I could afford into land. I’m on my fourth property and purposely bought in an 80’s subdivision with a very livable home on a 13000sqft lot. Each time a 1200sqft rancher in my neighbourhood is replaced with a 4000sqft home I smile knowing my property value just went up.
even though it looks like massey tunnel will finally get a replacement soon (feels like it's been talked about for 15+ years), i think buying east instead of south is still the way to go for burbs life (metro system viability and not just vehicle choke points)

there's much more concrete of plans for extensions eastward than a brand new line south, we only have an airport line because of an event the scale of an expo/olympics
