It's the same with many laws, they can't be overly specific. They must specific enough to be tested, but vague enough to be enforced in a variety of situations. If the laws are too specific, people can abuse loopholes. It is up to the officers to use their best judgement to enforce the rules. Unfortunately in our case, the officer has extremely strict judgement. He's technically not wrong when measuring the db levels of a stock lambo and since it's written in the law to not exceed 83db, he is completely justified to enforce it. It sucks. The entire car community is depressed because of it.
