I have to say,however cowardly and hypocritical, Trudeau not taking part in this debate was politically the best decision. Most people griping about it probably wouldn't have voted for him anyways.
Rather than be trounced by all three opponents he left the completely uncharismatic and not very likable Scheer (The close opposition) to be flanked by the two leftists whose policies would see the average Canadians paying even more with an even slower economy.
