And that was my point.
Taking money from higher earners and transferring it to low earners isn't some sort of achievement.
Saying it's "lifted x people out of poverty" is a half baked statement.
I could say people on the dtes are "lifted out of poverty" for one or two days out of the month every last Wednesday.
Doesn't make it sustainable or efficient.
Or completely accurate.
