I did an online quote using my own driving record (20 years, no claims, no tickets), to/from work within 15 km, collision, and comprehensive on a 2015 M4 with a Calgary postal code and it was just shy of $3000/year.
$140/month is about $1700/year.
I’m having a difficult time believing his story.
