The question is what is "their" land?
This province in particular is extraordinarily rich with history of natives stretching back thousands of years.
There are at least 50 land claims by over 60 nations spanning almost the entire province. And that is just the nations participating in negotiations.

Regardless of how long our governments stall (and they have been for many decades), these claims aren't going to just go away.
