2.3 just doesn't do it, and the 5.0l is nuts. Need something in between.

the current Coyote 5L is a wonderful engine. very flexible powerband, and it still revs up to the top end. I suspect it may feel a bit lazy because of its displacement and a heavier flywheel.
maybe fuel economy is decent because of gearing. i think the standard 5L gots some pretty tall final drives. performance package cars got a nicer off the line feel with shorter final drive.
but having said that.... the voodoo 5.2L is just......
