Hard to say, my 92 Jeep Wrangler and 00 Jeep Cherokee were metric. Or it could be like my moms old Aerostar where all you need to change the pads is a hammer (that was the weirdest vehicle to work on).

Just grab something from the Daily Driver category on RockAuto. Or if he's not keeping it much longer slap on some cheap pads and leave the rotors.
