E90 330i has the N52, non turbo iirc. Agreed that the fitment is pretty gross
Edit: Mark beat me to it. The M54B30 (M54 in the E46 330i/ci/xi/cic) has an oil pump nut issue when redline is raised or when constantly at redline (during tracking). Due to the harmonic balancing of the engine, along with lightweight flywheel (common mod), it'll result in the oil pump nut backing off. Some say you can just weld the nut on, but instead of it backing off, the pump sprocket will shear off.
