This is one of the biggest challenges with EV's being sold by the traditional dealer network. Where they make the most profit is from service and EV's simply don't need the same amount of service as ICE vehicles do. Because of this, there is less incentive for dealers to sell EV's when they can sell an ICE car that will potentially give them more revenue in the long run from service.
This is also one of the reasons why Tesla has been so successful. They have no dealer network, all of their stores are owned by Tesla.
