Home Squat Rack Recommendation. Tube Size & Thickness?

Looking to get a squat rack in my basement next week so I don't need to wait for rack at the gym.

How important is the steel thickness and tube size?

Kinda narrowed it down to these 2 racks

The price difference is only $50 so I don't really care ($400 vs $350)
Personally, I like the first one more, it sits lower, has a wider foot print, and the finish quality seems nicer in person. However the post is only 2" x 2" and 12 gauge steel despite costing more.

The cheaper 2nd rack actually has 3x3 post and 11 gauge steel. But the finish quality seems "rough" up close. The spotter arm is also only 18.5" vs 24" on the first one.

I usually work in the 250lb squat range...is there any benefit having the thicker post and steel? (The first one rated @ 700lbs, 2nd cheaper one rated @1500lbs)

I like the first rack more especially the longer spotter, but feel like it is a mistake to pay more for a rack that's thinner and weaker
