New legal dispensary in the hood at Hastings and Nanaimo, EggsCanna finally got their licence and opening. Went Saturday night with no one in there and talked to 2 excellent employees about the store etc.
They are allowed -zero- outside advertising. You don’t even know what the store is until you go in. They only currently have a non descript cloth banner on the top of the store
All the govt. shit continues to be old and dry af. Even after the woman working there told me most of their flower was freshly packed it was still terribly dry to the point that I wouldn’t buy it again.
Edibles are going to be limited to an insanely low 10mg per purchase due to them figuring a 1mg dose is a “safe” dose if a child was to eat it. In comparison Cali is selling individual brownies with 1000mg per brownie.. They are going to try and have an “edibles lounge” with live music in the space next to the store front lol
Most expensive and strongest strain they have on hand is Seth Rogans full indica “backyard” or back porch or something. $45 for an eighth I would have bought it when I was inside just to Make a point if it had been dry. I will likely ask if it’s ok to open the canisters in front of the employees just do demonstrate whether the product is completely dry or not.
It’s a really nice space and probably one of the nicer dispensaries I’ve been into in Vancouver (have never been to any other legal govt. one)
