The leatherette on the headband of my old Kingston HyperX Clouds from 2014 was breaking apart. Could've kept using them if I bought a headband cover, but decided to buy a pair of Steelseries Arctis 7 as I always wanted something wireless (using an Apple Magic Keyboard and a Logitech MX Master 2) to complete my setup.

Pleased with them so far. Microphone quality is top notch and comfort is good. The battery being non-replaceable is a bit of a worry, but anything wireless these days have planned obsolescence. Might take them apart when it comes to that.

Sound-wise, they're very boring out of the box. A bit of an EQ tweak on the low/high ends makes everything pop more, especially if listening to music. Luckily, these are strictly a gaming headset as I have other headphones for music.
