The fit is slow as fuck. You're gonna shoot yourself trying to merge on to highways.

Unfortunately, if fuel economy is a priority, CVTs do a pretty bang on job on that. My 2015 Civic, although the CVT is loud and older than the new generation, I still got about 31-54mpg to Seattle.
