They said that China is respecting world copyright issues by doing it the right way instead of infringing upon them and would allow them to start making the drug in China faster for their own citizens because the company that makes it can't make enough of it fast enough... it even says that global sales would be unaffected by any of the steps China is taking.

It also says that governments are allowed to ignore patents n licensing during an emergency situation (like corona) but instead China's like naw we'll let everyone make some money off of this
