NBA trade deadline deals. Here are some of the trades:
D’Angelo Russell moves from Warriors to Timberwolves for Andrew Wiggins, two draft picks
Heat gets Andre Iguodala from the Grizzlies
Clint Capela to Hawks, Robert Covington to Rockets in four-team deal
The first trade to emerge as the deadline approached was a doozy, at least in terms of the sheer numbers of teams and players involved.
According to ESPN and The Athletic, here is who got what:
Rockets: Robert Covington, Jordan Bell and a second-round pick
Hawks: Clint Capela and Nene (whom they waived on Thursday; he would have been guaranteed his $2.7 million salary for 2020-21 if he was not cut by Feb. 15.)
Timberwolves: Malik Beasley, Evan Turner, Juan Hernangomez, Jarred Vanderbilt and a 2020 first-round pick from Atlanta (via the Nets)
Nuggets: Gerald Green, Shabazz Napier, Noah Vonleh, Keita Bates-Diop and a first-round pick from Houston.
